Job Overview:
**Responsibilities:
**
- Oversee and reconcile daily drug usage records to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct daily production variance investigations and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) by promoting understanding, compliance, and implementation across operations.
- Maintain responsibility for the FDA Feed Manufacturing License, including renewals, required postings, and compliance with all related regulatory requirements.
- Collect weekly flake samples and maintain accurate documentation for patented flake products.
- Monitor and ensure the quality of all feed products, including textured feeds, complete feeds, pellets, cubes, meals, minerals, and specialty products, ensuring customer expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
- Perform routine visual inspections of retained feed samples to maintain product quality standards.
- Evaluate the quality of incoming ingredients and materials with the authority to reject products that fail to meet specifications.
- Monitor, control, and coordinate pest prevention efforts, including birds, rodents, and insects, to maintain a safe and compliant facility environment.
- Maintain compliance with FDA Feed Manufacturing License requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and the Safe Feed/Safe Food Program.
- Ensure customer quality expectations are consistently achieved across all operational areas and product lines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational needs.
- Provide support for Feed Mill Superintendent responsibilities when required.
- Assist with overall feed mill operations, including batching and production support as needed.
**Qualifications:
**
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s (A.S.) or Bachelor’s (B.S.) degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent applicable work experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in feed production, feed mill operations, or plant manufacturing environments.
- Experience maintaining an FDA Feed Manufacturing License and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Strong understanding and implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Feed/Safe Food Programs.
- Working knowledge of FDA, GMP, and HACCP regulations, guidelines, and standards.
- Proven ability to maintain product quality standards and ensure customer satisfaction in manufacturing operations.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, including documentation, recordkeeping, sorting, filing, and information distribution.
- Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high accuracy and quality standards.
