Primary Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor the inspection team, assigning tasks and providing training on quality procedures
Operate and program manual and CNC CMM machines to perform precise measurements and inspections
Read and interpret engineered drawings, blueprints, and specifications to verify part conformance
Use advanced inspection tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges, and CMM software) for detailed analysis
Conduct first-article inspections, in-process checks, and final quality audits
Identify and document non-conformances, collaborating with production teams on corrective actions
Maintain accurate records, generate inspection reports, and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, AS9100)
Promote a safe, organized workspace and contribute to process improvements for efficiency
Key Qualifications/Skills:
Minimum 3-5 years of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment, with proven expertise in manual and CNC CMM operations
Strong leadership abilities, with experience supervising or mentoring teams
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for high-precision quality work
Proficient in reading blueprints and using metrology software (e.g., PC-DMIS)
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Inspector) preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication for team collaboration and reporting
