We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector (QA Inspector) to join our team in Torrance, CA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our manufacturing processes meet the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough quality inspections of products using measurement gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
  • Utilize GD&T principles to interpret and analyze blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Perform data analysis on quality control metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), specifically Hexagon brand, to ensure product specifications are met.
  • Communicate effectively with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate records in compliance with AS9100 standards.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control processes and procedures.
  • Provide training and support to team members on quality inspection techniques and tools.

Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum 5+ years experience in quality assurance/inspection

  • Proficient with CMM, PC-DMIS

  • Proven experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading.

  • Experience with quality control data analysis and reporting.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Proficient in shop math skills.

  • Familiarity with AS9100 quality management systems.

  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Hands-on experience with measurement gauges, calipers, and micrometers.

  • Experience operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), preferably Hexagon brand.
