Quality Assurance Inspector
Position Overview
The Quality Assurance Inspector performs in‐process, receiving, and final inspections of sheet metal and machined components to ensure parts meet blueprint specifications and quality standards.
This role works closely with production and engineering to verify dimensional accuracy and maintain quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Schedule
Monday to Friday
6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Responsibilities
• Perform receiving, in‐process, and final inspections of manufactured components
• Inspect sheet metal and machined parts to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications
• Use inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, depth gauges, and surface plates
• Record dimensional measurements and inspection results
• Verify part conformance before releasing to the next operation
• Review blueprints and drawings to confirm dimensional requirements
• Support quality documentation and inspection reports
• Work with production teams to resolve quality issues
• Maintain organized inspection records and documentation
Qualifications
• Experience in quality inspection within manufacturing preferred
• Sheet metal or machining inspection experience strongly preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Basic computer and math skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read and write English clearly
• Self‐motivated and dependable
