We are seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector for a direct-hire, first-shift opportunity in Bensenville, Illinois. This role inspects manufactured parts, products, materials, and processes to verify compliance with engineering drawings and established quality specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect components, finished products, materials, and manufacturing processes.

  • Work from engineering drawings, blueprints, rough sketches, manuals, prototypes, parts lists, and sample models.

  • Verify dimensions using fixed and variable precision measuring instruments.

  • Identify defects, irregularities, incomplete assemblies, and out-of-specification conditions.

  • Inspect unusual or non-standard parts to extremely close tolerances.

  • Follow established quality-system procedures.

  • Document inspection findings and communicate with management, technical, and production personnel.

  • Complete varied inspection assignments independently while meeting deadlines.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • At least one year of previous quality inspection experience.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.

  • Experience using precision measuring equipment, gauges, and mechanical or electronic measuring instruments.

  • Ability to inspect non-standard parts to close tolerances.

  • Basic shop math and computer skills.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to stay organized, work independently, and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to perform the position’s sitting, standing, walking, climbing, bending, safety-equipment, and lifting functions, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience inspecting manufactured components with unusual shapes or complex dimensions.

  • Experience developing or using non-standard inspection methods.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $22–$28 per hour.

  • Overtime opportunities are available.

  • Time-and-a-half after eight hours worked in a day.

  • Occasional Saturday work may be available or required.
