Job Overview:

Reporting to the Director Of Engineering & Quality, the QMS / Supplier Quality Specialist will provide support to the Quality team in the management of SRC Industrial's Quality Management System (QMS) and working with the company's component suppliers to ensure that all components meet Engineering and Quality requirements. The role involves developing and maintaining the SRC's QMS, assisting with the implementation of Quality Control solutions to ensure optimal production efficiency, product quality, and safety in a remanufacturing environment.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage the Quality Management System, including preparing SRC Industrial for ISO 9001 compliance. Assist with document control. Inspect supplier produced components for defects, determine component disposition, and track supplier performance. Work with Suppliers on Corrective Action plans as required. Support and service current products through customer and shop floor interaction Maintain quality and safety goals of the organization. Analyze current processes; develop and execute improvements to quality, cost, and delivery. Collect data to support Quality Control metrics as required. Participate in corrective action projects. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED • 2-year associate's degree related to Quality Control and at least 5 years of relevant experience in a production facility, preferably in a manufacturing or remanufacturing environment. • Familiarity with product testing methods, quality control, and lean manufacturing practices. • Familiarity with ISO 9001 QMS Requirements.

PREFERRED SKILL/ KNOWLEDGE/ ABILITY/ EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE: • 4 Year Quality Control or related Engineering degree and at least 2 years OR relevant experience in a production facility, preferably in a manufacturing or remanufacturing environment. • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and product lifecycle• Knowledge of ERP systems and project management software. • Extensive Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (OMS), ISO standards, and environmental regulations. 

Work Environment: Work is performed mostly in a controlled atmosphere. Some exposure to harsh conditions—such as dust, fumes, noise, and varying temperatures—for short periods of time is possible. This employee will be required to demonstrate continued knowledge of Haz.Com regulations and requirements. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.

 Physical Demands: Standing 20%, sitting, 60%, walking 20%. This position requires occasional physical effort including lifting, pushing and pulling material weighing up to 50 pounds.
