QC Lab Technician

**Taylorsville, NC | Mon - Friday 7am-4pm **

SourceNow is hiring a Quality Control (QC) Lab Technician for a manufacturing facility in Taylorsville, NC. If you have quality control experience, strong attention to detail, and enjoy working in a manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming raw materials to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Perform quality testing on products before, during, and after production.
• Record and analyze test results to determine product acceptance or rejection.
• Prepare Certificates of Compliance for customer shipments.
• Document non-conforming materials and communicate findings to production and management.
• Maintain accurate records and follow quality procedures.
• Work closely with production and cross-functional teams to support product quality.

Quality Tests Performed:

• Coat Weight
• Peel Testing
• Puncture Testing
• Burst Testing
• Permeability
• Radiant Panel Testing
• Flammability Testing (FAR 25.856)

Qualifications:

• Previous quality control experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Experience in the converting or industrial manufacturing industry is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic computer systems.
• Strong math skills and experience using measuring tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and accurately.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally.
• Walk, stand, bend, and climb throughout the shift as needed.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with machinery and industrial noise.
• Must follow all safety and quality procedures.
