The QC Lab Tech is responsible for conducting tests and analyses to ensure the quality and safety of products by adhering to established standards and protocols.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be completing analytical testing on products - validation of raw materials, testing of process materials, outbound testing on finished materials to provide results for customers.
Perform routine and non-routine testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards
Follow established protocols, procedures, and industry regulations during all laboratory activities
Document and report test results accurately and promptly, identifying any deviations or abnormalities
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results
Ensure proper sample handling, labeling, and storage to prevent contamination or mix-up
Comply with all safety and environmental regulations while working in the lab
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma/GED.
Preference of 2+ years’ experience within a production/QC lab.
Be in general good health and must be medically certifiable to wear repertory protection equipment.
Be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to relate job information.
Possess and demonstrate sufficient manual dexterity for this position.
Demonstrate the ability to discern between colors.
Possess and demonstrate the ability to perform necessary laboratory mathematical computations.
Have the ability to learn and perform duties with a minimum amount of supervision.
Have successfully completed one year of high school chemistry or one year relevant lab experience.
Must be computer literate.
