Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced QC Inspector to support a precision manufacturing operation servingaerospace, defense, and medical-device customers. This position performs in-process and final inspectionsto verify manufactured components meet engineering drawings, customer specifications, and establishedquality requirements.

This is a hands-on dimensional inspection position. The successful candidate must be comfortable usingprecision measuring equipment, reading engineering drawings, interpreting GD&T, documenting inspectionresults, and making objective accept/reject decisions.

Shift 3:00 am - 1:00 pm Mon-Fri

Train on 1st shift

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-process dimensional inspections at key manufacturing stages according to the inspection plan.
• Conduct final dimensional, visual, cosmetic, and functional inspections on completed parts.
• Inspect manufactured components against engineering drawings and customer specifications.
• Use precision measurement instruments including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges,go/no-go gauges, depth gauges, and surface plates.
• Operate CMM equipment for complex geometries and GD&T verification when required.
• Conduct load testing on structural assemblies according to program-specific procedures when assigned.
• Accurately record measurement data in electronic quality/inspection systems.
• Complete First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with AS9102 when required.
• Identify and reject nonconforming product and document defects through the NCR process.
• Verify manufacturing travelers are complete and all required operations and inspections are documented.
• Verify calibration status of inspection equipment before use and report due or overdue equipment.

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of dimensional inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency using precision measurement tools, including calipers and micrometers.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Working knowledge of GD&T symbols and tolerances.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to make objective accept/reject decisions.
• Comfort using digital systems for inspection data entry and record keeping.

Preferred Qualifications

• CMM operation or programming experience.
• AS9102 First Article Inspection experience.
• Previous aerospace, defense, or medical-device inspection experience.
• Experience working in an AS9100 or ISO 9001 certified manufacturing environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
