Job Overview:

  • Communicate with operators as to quality requirements.

    • Assist operators on changeovers, start-ups quality confirmations.
    • Support production by being a QA presence at production lines.
    • Interact with operators and helpers to ensure standard work is done consistently.
    • Provide support for lab operations.
    • Select and test products at various production stages.
    • Perform destructive and non-destructive testing.
    • Collaborate with management and engineering on standards.
    • Follow safety and procedural guidelines, strictly.
    • Record and evaluate test data, noting deviations.
    • Input data into analysis systems.
    • Support Tier One Problem Solving utilizing QC Tools (i.e., fishbone, 5 Why, etc.).
    • Serve as a quality contact for operators and helpers.
    • Conduct and document production audits.
    • Maintain a quality presence in production areas.
    • Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned.
    • Support daily Tier 1 meetings to department as needed.
    • Works closely with Quality and Engineering departments to resolve quality issues, processing issues or organizing experimental trials.
    • Assists with COPQ tasking and training.
    • Support Training of new hires on critical to Quality in-process checks, Quality related procedures and gaging.
    • Support all Internal and External ISO Audits
    • Support, Audit, and monitor calibration system.
