Job Overview:
Summary: The Quality Manager will provide a high level of technical competence in all aspects of quality assessment and corrective action including metrology using CMM inspection, SPC, capability studies, probability and root cause analysis, problem solving and quality engineering
as it pertains to sheet metal fabric
ation. In addition to machining, painting, welding and secondary cleaning processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain ISO 9001 quality systems, GD&T standards, and SPC protocols.
Drive hands-on inspection, product testing, and corrective action workflows.
Interface directly with customers and suppliers regarding quality status and updates.
Lead departmental compliance, continuous improvement, and team development.
Qualifications:
7+ years in progressive quality engineering, with 5+ years in a QA Manager role.
Strong expertise in sheet metal fabrication, GD&T, CMM metrology, and print reading.
Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems and MS Office.
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing/Industrial Operations (or equivalent experience).
