Provides general knowledge in the development/evaluation of product (cheese and dairy powders) and analytical testing while providing technical support to Project Leaders by performing routine functions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Weigh ups • Lab Restock and Inventory check • Lab Cleaning • Analytical submissions • Coating on popcorn or other snack bases • Dry Blending of powders • Sample request fulfillment • Team tasting sensory set up • Freezer inventory/clean-out • Sifting and logging product from Pilot Plant dryer • Processing of and shipping out samples of powder • Pilot Plant assistance during runs • Skills needed – organization, proactiveness, communication, collaboration • Ability to lift, carry, and move 50 lb. bags of powder • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.Experience using Excel/Word/Outlook helpful Education: • HS degree or equivalent with 3+ years of practical experience.• 2 or more years of relevant work experience in a lab setting
