• Ability to communicate, read and write

• In-depth knowledge of products within functional area
• Ability to recognize defective products
• Understanding of basic & advanced machinery
• Ability to operate a Forklift/pallet jack as required by department
• Ability to comprehend and follow all safety and GMP guidelines
• Ability to meet scheduled deadlines
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication)
• Ability to troubleshoot basic problems that may occur on the line
• Ability to differentiate numbers
• Ability and willingness to work across various departments at request of supervisor
• Ability to oversee the work direction of production group members
• Must be able to work over-time and weekends.
• Must be able to be able to stand for 8 hours or more
• Walk, stand, stoop, bend, reach, grasp, grip, pull and pull.
• Lift up to 70 lbs
• Ability to work in cold and wet environment
• Ability to work in hot and wet environment
• Ability to work with and around allergens
• Ability to work with and around raw meat
• Ability to work with and around cured and cooked meat
• Ability to work with and around spices including pepper
