We’re currently seeking an experienced Purchasing Agent to support purchasing, supplier management, and material coordination within a precision manufacturing environment.

🔧 What We’re Looking For:

• 2–10 years of manufacturing purchasing experience

• Machine shop experience strongly preferred

• Experience purchasing raw materials, tooling, and maintenance supplies

• Experience managing purchase orders and expediting supplier deliveries

• ERP/MRP and Microsoft Office experience

• Strong supplier and vendor communication skills

• Experience coordinating outside processing/services

• Strong organizational, analytical, and documentation skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

📋 Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and manage purchase orders

• Identify and communicate with suppliers and vendors

• Track open orders, shipments, and delivery timelines

• Expedite materials and resolve supplier issues or discrepancies

• Order raw materials, tooling, and maintenance supplies based on shop requirements

• Coordinate outside processing and services with vendors, Quality, Sales, and Engineering

• Keep Manufacturing updated on incoming materials and potential delays

• Monitor supplier performance and delivery KPIs

• Help ensure materials and parts are available when needed for production
