We are currently looking for a 1st shift  Punch Press Set-Up Operator A for our New Hope, MN location.

Salary: $25.00-$29.00 Hourly DOQ

Responsibilities

  • Complex setups with little or no defects.
  • Ability to manage multiple machines including automatic machines.
  • Knowledge of bend allowances.
  • Complex setups with little supervision.
  • Inspects work pieces for conformance to specifications and adjusts machine to correct errors.
  • Knowledge of using the proper punch and die clearances according to material type and thickness.
  • Cleans lubricates, and has the ability to do maintenance on machines.
  • Ability to manage secondary operations.
  • Assembles, installs, and aligns dies in press according to specifications.
  • Positions workpiece against fixtures or stop on machine bed or on die.
  • Starts press and observes operation to detect misalignment or malfunction.
  • Ability to operate a single stage Punch Press.
  • Ability to convert fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions.


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-5 years of varied manufacturing experience preferred
  • Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to the mission
  • Flexible and able to multi-task; can work with an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems
