Responsibilities

• Set up and operate punch press machines to produce metal parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine production requirements.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on punch press equipment.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and defects, ensuring compliance with quality control standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve production processes and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or manufacturing is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Punch Press Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of punch press operations and tooling.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing setting.
