Description

Under general supervision operates any and all presses in the plant as required to blank, bend, pierce, form and draw materials such as steel, copper, aluminum and their various alloys to produce any and all parts; maintains continuous visual inspection of pieces being produced; reports any irregularities in material or equipment to the Plant Manager and/or Director of Quality.

Requirements

• Safely operate up to 200T punch press
• Read and follow blueprints and part routers
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
• Maintain high quality in line with customer specifications
• Follow all company safety and operations policies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic shop mathematics
• Experience reading measurement tools, including calipers and micrometers
• Motivation to learn and develop with WLS
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
