PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform HTC, pump assembly and test
- Ability to read blueprints, calipers and other measuring instruments, records dimensions, and other details on production logs
- Maintains organized clean work area including equipment and tooling
- Maintains a safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Works with other facility teams (Purchasing, Quality, and Engineering) to ensure that assembly/test problems are addressed and resolved quickly
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures
- Utilize safe work habits at all times
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned
FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the assembly and testing areas
- Assist in identifying process improvements and contribute to team-based problem-solving
- Ensure compliance with facility-specific safety protocols and product standards
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly, industrial machinery assembly, or a related manufacturing role required
- Forklift operation experience preferred
- Material handling experience preferred
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to pass a drug screen & background check
- Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends as required
- Ability to solve practical problems and work with limited standardization
- Working knowledge of manufacturing environment safety practices
- Understanding of quality assurance concepts, typically acquired through in-house training
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
- Adaptability and willingness to be cross trained
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
- Ability to work in non-climate-controlled facility
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push/pull, and repetitive movements for up to 12 hours daily
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
