The Production Assistant is responsible for learning Computer Graphics and Audio, for the purposes of filling in on either position. They are also responsible for moving and arranging set pieces, assisting guests, directing talent, and other studio-related duties.

This position will, on average, require 20 hours or less a week, mostly on weekday mornings. However, as a fill-in position, the Production Assistant may be called upon to work some weekend evenings as well, often at short notice. The pay for this position starts at $15.00/hr.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
The Production Assistant must be able to stand and sit for long periods of time, reach, climb, conduct telephone conversations, use electronic mail, write letters and memos, conduct face-to-face discussions with individuals or groups, make decisions without supervision, make decisions that impact the results of co-workers, work in close proximity to others, and work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions. In addition, the Production Assistant must be able to handle, control or feel objects, tools or controls. Repetitive movements are required. Work may be conducted in extremely bright or inadequate lighting conditions. Must be able to lift, set up and operate equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
