Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Control Representative to join our team. As a Property Control Representative, you will be responsible for managing warehouse storage and the recycling and management of our company's waste stream.  This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of property, equipment, and materials, including tracking and reporting on inventory levels, asset movements, and disposals
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements, related to property control and asset management
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure accuracy and completeness of property records and to identify and correct discrepancies
  • Analyze and resolve property control issues, including discrepancies, missing or damaged assets, and surplus property
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders, including responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and providing guidance on property control procedures
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of property control operations
  • Collaborate with other teams, including finance, operations, and logistics, to ensure seamless asset management and property control
  • Generate reports and provide data analysis to support business decisions and property control initiatives

Required Skills and Education

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in warehouse management, property control, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to obtain a license to operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) within a reasonable timeframe

Preferred Skills and Education

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience working in a recycling or waste management environment
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to property control and asset management
  • Certification in property management or a related field (e.g., Certified Property
  • Manager, Certified Asset Manager)
  • Prior experience operating powered industrial trucks (PIT)

Typical Education and Experience

Typically a High School Diploma and 1 year work experience or equivalent experience
