The Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of complex signage and graphic projects from initiation through completion. This role oversees project planning, coordination, budgeting, fabrication, and installation activities, working closely with estimators, field supervisors, design, production, and installation teams. The Project Manager also contributes to the conceptual development of projects and ensures effective organization, scheduling, and execution in alignment with company standards and client expectations.
Plan, organize, and direct activities related to the fabrication and installation of signage projects.
Define project scope, objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards in accordance with company policies and contract requirements.
Coordinate with field personnel and supervisors to address work procedures, issues, and on-site challenges.
Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, clients, and external partners to facilitate smooth project execution.
Monitor project progress and manage on-site labor to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
Identify potential risks or issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
Represent the company in project and strategy meetings.
Interpret and communicate plans, specifications, and contract requirements to staff, vendors, and clients.
Prepare and maintain reports related to project progress, costs, scheduling, and performance.
Assign and coordinate field personnel for specific project sites and tasks.
Track supplier order status, follow up on delayed shipments, and coordinate delivery timelines.
Obtain, review, and analyze vendor quotations; recommend suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery performance.
Perform material takeoffs from construction documents, design files, and specifications and input data into spreadsheets or databases.
Collaborate closely with the Design Department to ensure accurate and complete documentation for manufacturing.
Communicate professionally with suppliers to resolve order issues and obtain confirmations.
Prepare and review work orders for production; initiate and manage purchase orders, amendments, and special tooling requirements.
Coordinate with the Production Manager and Receiving Department to ensure materials are delivered accurately and on time.
Support Sales staff by answering questions related to drawings and project documentation.
Prepare change orders and communicate revisions to internal teams and external vendors.
Attend departmental and project-related meetings as required.
