The Project Manager will be an essential leader within the projects team, responsible for overseeing high-profile projects from start to finish. This role demands a proactive and organized approach to ensure all project milestones are achieved efficiently and effectively, maintaining the highest standards of execution and customer satisfaction. The Project Manager will ensure the accuracy and success of each project, managing all aspects from inception to completion while adhering to budget and scope requirements.
Responsibilities Include:
-Project Planning and Execution:
Lead and manage projects end-to-end, from contract signing through to completion.
Plan, control, budget, schedule, and execute all project facets, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer expectations.
Identify and manage project risks and challenges proactively to ensure smooth project progression.
-Stakeholder Communication and Coordination:
Serve as the primary contact for customer representatives, vendors, and internal teams, fostering strong relationships.
Organize and lead meetings and conference calls with stakeholders, ensuring effective and clear communication.
Maintain seamless communication across departments to keep all stakeholders informed of project progress, from scheduling through to completion.
-Documentation and Reporting:
Create, review, and manage all project-related documentation, including quotes, contracts, specifications, project plans, budgets, invoices, and closeouts.
Oversee and maintain accurate records of all project activities, ensuring meticulous documentation and reporting.
Provide regular project updates to internal and external stakeholders to keep them informed of milestones and deliverables.
-Resource and Risk Management:
Oversee procurement of materials and equipment necessary for project execution.
Make informed decisions when presented with multiple options for project progression, balancing customer needs with business objectives.
-Standards and Quality Assurance:
Ensure all project deliverables meet or exceed client standards and company quality requirements.
Follow Standard Textile’s project management standards and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications Include:
-Education:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
Preferred: Advanced coursework or certifications in Project Management
-Experience:
Required: Minimum 2 years in a Project Management role within the hospitality industry or similar sectors.
Preferred: 5+ years of progressively responsible project management experience with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
-Skills:
Required:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management software.
Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills suitable for diverse audiences.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively.
Preferred:
Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle/JD Edwards.
Familiarity with web-based project management applications and tools specific to hospitality project management.
