PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Project Manager will manage all aspects of complex projects f rom inception to conclusion. Identifies and communicates project scope and ensures project milestones and objectives are met. Collaboratively implement and develop the PMO (Project Management Of f ice) at Formulated Solutions.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead the planning and implementation of a project.
• Def ines and maintain standards f or project management within the organization.
• Standardize and introduce economies of repetition in the execution of projects .
• Facilitate the def inition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
• Def ine project tasks and resource requirements.
• Develop f ull scale project plans.
• Manage project resource allocation.
• Plan and schedule project timelines.
• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools .
• Provide direction and support to project team.
• Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders.
• Present reports def ining project progress, problems and solutions.
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
• Create a working environment that allows everyone to work to the best of their abilities.
• Identif ies project risks.
• At the point of contact on assigned projects, perf orms a variety of highly skilled duties
such as: assembling, coordinating and managing multidisciplinary technical review
teams.
• Facilitates and troubleshoots the myriad of problems associated with developing complex
systems or with coordinating and development, and design projects.
• Provides highly skilled technical and management advice and assistance to department
management and personnel.
• Responds to inquiries about projects.
• Chairs various project review and pre-submittal meetings.
• Establishes and maintains liaison as required with boards, committees and commissions.
• Assists in developing departmental plans, goals, objectives, policies and procedures.
• Coordinates schedules of staf f and other interested parties.
• Monitor all customer f ee f or service milestone and ensure they are both completed and
billed on time.
• Other responsibilities will be assigned an on an as-needed basis.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A. Required
• Minimum 4 – 6 years’ experience in project management.
B. Preferred Additional
• Pharmaceutical, OTC, and/or cosmetic industry experience a plus.
