JOB SUMMARY (the purpose and general nature of the job):
Qualified candidates will encompass excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to plan, direct, control and coordinate multiple global activities simultaneously. A thorough knowledge of project planning and management procedures, practices and techniques are imperative. In addition, a strong foundation, engineering, project planning and financial analysis, communications and basic qualitative/quantitative evaluation is preferred.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES include the following:
- Managing Engineered Aftermarket Projects, and/or multiple low volume OEM product families, or a single high volume OWM product family.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to understand technical, schedule, and delivery requirements for assigned projects.
- Identifying and obtain missing information required to complete design and assembly of projects.
- Reviewing and maintain detailed project schedules.
- Proactively supporting the operations life cycle (from order initiation to on-site customer commission) ensuring timely delivery of customer orders.
- Participating in cross-project planning to resolve conflicts with project priorities, resourcing, schedule, and scope.
- Tracking project changes and produce updated schedules as agreed with sales, engineering, supply chain personnel, operations, and customers.
- Taking ownership to solve problems impacting project timelines and technical risk.
- Interfacing with manufacturing, purchasing, quality and planning during execution.

- Routinely publicizing and communicate ongoing project status and project metrics.
- Liaise with management to report status, identify and implement solutions for problems.
- Status of project updates communicated to customers.
- Taking ownership and responsibility for assuring project scope is met within quality, cost and delivery constraints.
- Leading cross functional scope definition and review meetings.

- Professional Development - candidate will be expected to obtain a CAPM or other industry recognized project management certification of similar level within 1 year of starting the position.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: Minimal requirements for education, knowledge and experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience, with 1-3 years off professional experience.
- CAPM or other industry recognized project management certification off similar level preferred.
- Understanding of complex industrial machinery.
- Knowledge in project planning and analysis, risk evaluation and mitigation, and strong communication techniques.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with working knowledge of Sharepoint.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project or equivalent scheduling tools.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Estimated travel is 10% or as required.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: This position requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment:
- Work schedule generally consists of 40 hours per week, which may include on-call status, evenings, and/or weekends.
- Ability to lift/maneuver 20 pounds.
