We are a rapidly growing, full-service real estate development, construction, and property management company operating throughout Southeast Michigan. We specialize in a diverse portfolio of residential, multifamily, commercial, and tenant improvement projects. We pride ourselves on a culture of accountability, hard work, and a "team-first" mentality. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a dedicated professional who wants to build a long-term career and eventually grow into a key member of our leadership team.
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and hands-on Project Manager / Field Coordinator. This is a unique role that blends high-level project coordination with active, on-site field leadership. You won't just be managing subcontractors from behind a desk—you will take true ownership of your projects, doing whatever it takes to ensure they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can seamlessly pivot between coordinating with municipal officials, negotiating vendor pricing, and managing day-to-day activity on active job sites.
Project Management & Scheduling: Oversee and maintain comprehensive project schedules for multiple residential, commercial, and multifamily projects simultaneously.
Field Coordination: Schedule subcontractors, coordinate municipal inspections, manage deliveries, and maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
Documentation & Technology: Maintain precise daily logs, punch lists, RFIs, change orders, and overall project documentation utilizing construction management software.
Estimating & Procurement: Review architectural plans and scopes of work to assist in obtaining vendor and subcontractor pricing. Request and compare competitive bids, coordinate with suppliers, and help procure materials to find cost-effective solutions without sacrificing quality.
Hands-on Support: Lead by example. When necessary to keep a project on schedule, be willing to handle minor field tasks such as completing simple punch-list items, installing basic hardware, performing touch-up work, or moving materials.
Experience: Proven experience in construction project management or field supervision across residential, multifamily, commercial, or tenant improvement sectors.
Software Skills: Proficiency with construction project management software is required. Specific experience with Contractor Foreman is a significant advantage; experience with similar platforms (e.g., Buildertrend, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud) is highly beneficial.
Core Competencies: Exceptional organizational skills, strong detail orientation, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for professional interaction with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and local municipalities.
Mindset: A proactive, self-starting attitude with a deep sense of project ownership and a belief that "no task is beneath anyone" if it drives project success.
Retirement: 401(k) with a 3% company match
Health Insurance: Company covers 50% of the employee premium
Transportation: Company vehicle, vehicle allowance, or mileage reimbursement provided
Paid Time Off: Paid vacation and company-observed holidays
Career Growth: Concrete opportunities for rapid advancement into leadership within a growing company
