What We Seek...
We are looking for a motivated individual who will drive to ensure the success of projects within Britten's Event and Project related divisions. The Events Project Manager will execute phenomenal communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills to meet deadlines and coordinate with multiple stakeholders from concept to installation. This individual will be required to run a project from start to finish - coordinating site visits to overseeing installations. Travel up to 60% of the time is required as much of the work is in large cities across the USA. An understanding of manufacturing, construction, and field operations will be a key to success for this project manager.

Job Summary and Job Functions
- Maintain an intimate knowledge of assigned projects throughout all stages of planning and production.
- Updating software systems with accurate information pertaining to project, material, and delivery statuses.
- Site & Customer Visits, as needed to take accurate field measurements and site requirement communication.
- Resourcefulness, critical thinking, and problem solving in the field.
- Ownership and continuous updating of our schedule that coordinates project management, delivery, and installation team members.
- Maintain pulse on project budgets and assign/deliver Change-orders as necessary.
- Coordinate materials, subcontracted material vendors, or laborers to project requirements.
- Works with Sales and Accounting to ensure complete, timely, and accurate billing of the project occurs.
- Set up quality standards and checks for your projects.
- Work with the leadership team to execute quarterly objectives.
- Continuously seek out ways to increase the profitability of their projects.
- Works with a sense of urgency to meet short deadlines without compromising quality.
- Act as the point of contact for our customers, ensuring they have a quality experience and are delivered a quality product.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Project Management experience required.
- Computer savvy with basic understanding of computer programs.
- Ability to make decisions in a timely manner.
- Understanding of construction projects, event installations, or field operations/general contracting experience is strongly preferred.
- Basic understanding in reading and interpreting architectural documents and drawings.
- Understand and follow department standards and processes with attention to detail.
- Exhibits strong organizational skills.
- Effective in verbal and written communication as well as listening skills, communicates respectfully with others.
- Maintain a high level of respect and communication with internal and external clients.
- Demonstrates effective teamwork, conflict resolution skills, and relationship building internally and externally.
- Trusted as someone who will do what they say they will do.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Combination of office and onsite environmental.
- Hands on Site Installation can be required at times.
- Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods in the office setting.
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
- Heavy work. Exerting up to 75 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
- Subject to noise. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout to be heard above ambient noise level.
- Talking. Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other onsite workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
- Atmospheric conditions. One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system or the skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, outdoor elements or poor ventilation.
