Job Description

We’re partnering with a growing civil engineering firm in the Milwaukee area that is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to its team.

This person will oversee multiple civil projects from design through construction, working on a mix of state, DOT, municipal/public, and private-sector projects. The PM will be responsible for keeping projects on schedule and within budget while coordinating with clients, engineers, contractors, government agencies, and internal team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple civil engineering and construction projects simultaneously
• Oversee projects from initial design and planning through construction and completion
• Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and overall project performance
• Coordinate design efforts and review plans, drawings, and project documentation
• Work directly with clients, municipalities, DOT representatives, contractors, and other project stakeholders
• Support permitting, bidding, construction administration, and project closeout
• Identify project issues and work with the team to keep projects moving forward
• Maintain strong client relationships and participate in client meetings
• Work closely with the CEO/COO and other members of executive leadership
• Have an active voice in business development, client growth, and future project opportunities

What We’re Looking For:

• 4+ years of civil engineering/project management experience
• Experience with public infrastructure, state/DOT, municipal, and/or private civil projects
• Experience working across both the design and construction phases
• Ability to successfully manage several projects at once
• Proficiency with Civil 3D and HydroCAD
• Strong communication, organization, and client-facing skills
• Someone who wants more than just a technical role and is interested in leadership, client relationships, and business development

Compensation & Benefits:

• Up to $125K base salary
• 10–20% performance bonus
• 3 weeks PTO

• Milwaukee-based with occasional project/site visits
