**Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal departments, ensuring clear communication and strong customer relationships throughout project execution.
• Develop, manage, and communicate project schedules while coordinating with shop operations and cross-functional teams to meet production deadlines.
• Oversee project budgets, change orders, scope adjustments, and project costs to ensure efficient and successful completion.
• Drive project processes from planning through completion, ensuring organization, consistency, and adherence to timelines.
• Review fabrication and engineering drawings to confirm accuracy, project specification compliance, and production readiness.
• Create detailed work-back schedules, establish project milestones, and monitor progress to maintain on-time delivery.
• Coordinate material purchasing and procurement activities to support production schedules and project requirements.
• Manage project documentation including material tickets, nesting lists, and packing lists for shop and operational use.
• Coordinate transportation logistics and delivery schedules to ensure timely shipment and material movement.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to resolve issues, maintain workflow efficiency, and support project success.
**Qualifications
**:
• Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience within the steel fabrication industry.
• Strong understanding of steel fabrication standards including AISC, ASME, API, AWS, and related ASTM standards.
• Experience managing ASME-certified projects is preferred.
• Ability to interpret fabrication drawings and understand fabrication terminology and production processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CAD software, and ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize competing deadlines effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with the capability to perform well in fast-paced and high-pressure environments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
