Annualized Salary: $91,500 - $140,000

 

Position

The Project Manager acts as a clearinghouse for all customer interactions and requests related to a defined program. Coordinates all program-related activities including engineering, tooling, production, schedule, status and quality for the sunset process. Has overall responsibility for the performance of the defined program.

Tasks:

  • Examines tools and production finished goods, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Prepares progress reports and other exhibits that may be required for the sunset process; tools, finished goods, and standards
  • Administers tool return process
  • Maintains program status, ensuring customer orders are entered into ERP system
  • Supports performance by addressing obstacles (identified internally or by customer) that may impact rates and requirements
  • Resolves any questions, discrepancies, or issues that arise (either internally or from the customer); problem-solving order-related issues; addressing scheduling questions, expedite requests

Required Qualifications:

  • Interpersonal skills; external and internal interaction ability
  • Ability to provide direction to Program Administrators
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw solid conclusions
  • Ability to interpret a limited variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
  • Expert problem-solving abilities
  • Intermediate presentation, ERP/database management, Microsoft Office and computer operation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
  • Knowledge of development and product life cycle gates
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw solid conclusions
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Experience:

  • Three or more years progressive experience in Project Management, Business, Administration
  • Engineering, or equivalent field work demonstrating good management abilities
  • Previous experience in DOD or Aerospace preferred
  • Experience with international customers and supply chains

Working Conditions

While performing typical duties of this job, production employees will experience the conditions noted below. PPE is provided to protect employees against physical harm or hazards in the workplace environment.

  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk in an office environment
  • Usually work indoors. These sites may not be temperature-controlled
  • Exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels
  • Exposure to hazardous equipment
  • Exposure to contaminants
  • Shared workspaces with other employees
  • Requires handing objects of up to 50lbs
  • Lifting pushing, pulling, and bending
  • Standing and/or walking for 8 to 12 or more hours per day. (varies based on role, shift and overtime)

Pay

SEKISUI Aerospace is required by Washington law to include the salary range for this role when hiring a Washington resident. Pay ranges may be higher or lower for non-resident WA employees, based on the market data for their region, allowing us to pay employees competitively in different geographic markets.
