Position Overview:

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of professional services to customers across multiple projects. Through strong interpersonal skills, open communication, and a balanced approach, the Project Manager achieves results and facilitates consensus.

  • Develop/maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and to manage expectations

  • Establish project schedules and ensure timely delivery of milestones

  • Document and manage project scope (change control)

  • Identify resource needs, assign work, and coordinate schedules

  • Monitor and track key project dependencies

  • Oversee project budgets

  • Communicate project status both internally and externally to the client

  • Identify and manage project risks/issues

  • Lead technical resources to ensure adequate root cause analysis of issues

  • Establish Statements of Work

  • Ensure quality of delivered services


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Experience leading projects focused on delivery of technology

  • Leading teams of subject matter experts

  • Customer-focused and business-oriented

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Management of multiple concurrent projects

  • Strongly versed in the fundamentals of project management

  • Experience with project management tools such as SmartSheet and Microsoft Project

  • Strong communication and business writing skills

  • Proficient in producing presentations and reports using office suite tools

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Ability to identify, resolve and follow up on issues leveraging subject matter experts

  • Team player - strong initiative, independent thinker, driven to succeed, high energy with a commitment to work and follow-through

  • Willingness to travel (10 to 20 percent)


Required Skills:

  • Experience in deployment of enterprise software

  • Software Development Life Cycle Experience as it relates to a commercial software package implementation and customization

  • Trucking Industry Experience

  • PMI / PMP certification




Compensation: Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.

Hiring Range

$74,000.00–$101,800.00
