Description

Job Title: Project Manager

Reports To: Vice President of Business Development

Columbia Grain International, LLC is a global leader in the origination, processing, logistics and distribution of high-quality bulk grains, pulses, edible beans, oilseeds, and organics for domestic and worldwide export markets. Position Description:

The primary responsibility of the Project Manager is to organize, manage, and plan complex projects for the Company enterprise wide and build relationships/bring key stakeholders together to strengthen Columbia Grain as a leader in the industry.

Qualifications


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and oversee projects from initiation to completion.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Manage, measure and report on project progress.
  • Assist expansion of current business within global market by developing new business and identifying prospective clients and business partners.
  • Assist implementation and integration of new information technology, innovative technologies, and AI technologies.
  • Delegates work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints.
  • Leads an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate).
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge, Education and Experience:

Applicants must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Finance, Economics, or a related field.

The following are preferred.

  • Proven work experience as a Project Manager or similar role.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
  • Experience analyzing Global and Domestic markets, developing business strategies for partnerships.
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and reviewing complex financial models and valuation analyses utilizing Excel, Power Point and Microsoft business applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications highly desirable.
  • All education, experience, and training may be gained concurrently.
