EndoTheia, a rapidly growing medical device startup developing flexible endoscopic devices to improve patient outcomes and empower physicians worldwide, is currently hiring for a Project Manager to join their team in Nashville, TN.
This position will coordinate and drive device programs from early-stage research through commercialization. This role is primarily focused on project management: ensuring milestones, resources, and deliverables stay on track across engineering, quality, clinical, and regulatory teams. At the same time, it carries a subtle product management dimension: translating clinician and stakeholder input into actionable requirements, aligning development with business priorities, and maintaining awareness of market and competitive context.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.
- Coordinate across engineering, regulatory, quality, and clinical teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Identify risks early and propose mitigation strategies.
- Maintain clear program documentation (timelines, action logs, status reports, meeting notes).
- Manage external collaborators, consultants, and OEMs to deliver on program needs.
- Support resource allocation and budget tracking across active projects.
- Partner with leadership and engineers to translate clinical/user insights into development requirements.
- Participate in design reviews, balancing technical execution with downstream usability and market needs.
- Track industry and competitive developments to inform program direction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field; PMP certification a plus.
- 2–5 years of project management experience in medical devices or other regulated industries.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects from planning through execution.
- Familiarity with medical device development processes, including design controls and verification/validation.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving priorities.
Desired Skills
- Exposure to product management activities (requirements gathering, competitive analysis, user feedback integration).
- Familiarity with ISO 13485/14971 and FDA QSR frameworks.
- Experience with Smartsheet, MS Project, or other project management tools.
- Ability to integrate technical, clinical, and business perspectives into program decisions.

The pay range for this position is $90,000 - 135,000 Annual (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
