Responsibilities:
- Assemble and lead project based teams to successfully execute assigned projects and facilitate collaboration across departments
- Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment ensuring a project is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives
- Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs
- Meet with internal and external customers to clarify specific requirements of each project
- Develop project scopes and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility; determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards
- Develop comprehensive project plans
- Determine project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, sequencing project elements
- Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; delegating project tasks based on personnel strengths, skill sets, and experience levels
- Measure project performance utilizing appropriate systems, tools, and techniques; maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems
- Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
- Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommend actions; perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Determine applicable project documentation requirements and ensure comprehensive documentation of all aspects of a project
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, senior management, and key stakeholders
- Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
- Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree including a minimum of 5 years of proven work experience in engineering based Project Management OR Other Technical Degree with a minimum 10 years of proven work experience in engineering based Project Management
- PMP certification
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down business and technology organizations
- Proven ability to work in a fluid environment and collaborate across multiple areas to achieve a common business objective; flexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience with process analysis and improvement
- Demonstrated decisiveness in resolving business problems, making decisions and identifying priorities
- Strong experience presenting to key stakeholders and senior management
- Demonstrated communication skills: both written and oral with technical and non-technical staff, all levels of management
- Technically competent with various engineering based and project management software programs; experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning tool preferred
