Project Manager
Job Location: Essex, CT or Tamarac, FL
We are looking for a key player for the Innovation department in Connecticut or Florida who is responsible for the successful management of challenging projects across cross-functional teams within the organization. The Project Manager will have responsibilities in four main areas: Planning, Organizing, Leading and Controlling.
Project Manager Responsibilities
- Develop, secure approval, and oversee project plans.
- Define project scope, goals, milestones, and deliverables aligned with business priorities.
- Collaborate with senior management, functional owners, and stakeholders for successful execution.
- Assemble and lead project teams, coordinating team and stakeholder meetings.
- Drive project progress from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery.
- Track project actions, statuses, and key developments.
- Maintain a detailed overview of ongoing projects, including scope, ownership, and next steps.
- Communicate project expectations clearly and effectively to teams and stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve issues, conflicts, and roadblocks within project teams.
- Manage project dependencies and critical paths to ensure smooth execution.
- Organize project-related data, reports, and documentation in the project portal.
- Establish and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective execution.
- Contribute actively to the Business Innovation department, participating in ad hoc initiatives and strategic projects.
Our ideal candidate has:
- A bachelor’s degree or similar level due to work experience within the industry and other professional (business) training,
- Minimum of 3 years related work experience in Project Management or related experience,
- A strong work ethic, emphasizes teamwork and has got a positive can-do attitude,
- Advanced MS office proficiency and knowledge and preferably of project management software.
