We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Store Fixtures to manage customer projects from initial award through engineering, production, and final shipment.

Position Overview

The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer projects and will coordinate activities across Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, and Shipping.

The ideal candidate will have direct experience managing retail store fixture or commercial millwork projects and understand the unique requirements of producing fixtures for multi-location retail rollouts.

This position requires someone who can manage multiple projects simultaneously, communicate effectively with customers and internal teams, and proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact cost, quality, or schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage store fixture projects from purchase order through final shipment and project closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and customer delivery requirements.
• Coordinate with Engineering to ensure drawings, specifications, materials, finishes, and revisions are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Work closely with Procurement to ensure materials and components are available when needed.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing to monitor production schedules and resolve issues affecting delivery.
• Communicate regularly with customers regarding project status, changes, schedules, and potential issues.
• Review customer specifications, drawings, BOMs, and project requirements.
• Manage engineering changes and communicate their impact on cost, schedule, and production.
• Identify project risks and develop corrective actions.
• Track project costs and assist with maintaining project profitability.
• Coordinate prototype, first-article, and production approvals when required.
• Manage projects involving multiple store locations and phased rollouts.
• Ensure customer-specific packaging, labeling, shipping, and installation requirements are understood and executed.
• Maintain accurate project information within the company's ERP and project-management systems.
• Lead project meetings and provide clear communication to internal departments and customers.
• Support Sales with project estimates, schedules, and customer communications as needed.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to customer specifications.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of project management experience in store fixtures, retail environments, architectural millwork, commercial millwork, or a closely related manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of woodworking, laminates, veneers, solid surfaces, metal, glass, lighting, and other fixture components.
• Experience working with retail customers, general contractors, designers, architects, or fixture programs.
• Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Ability to read and understand architectural drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and BOMs.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Experience working with an ERP or manufacturing management system preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with retail store rollouts or multi-location programs.
• Experience managing projects from concept/prototype through production and installation.
• Knowledge of CNC manufacturing and modern woodworking processes.
• Experience with Global Shop Solutions or another manufacturing ERP system.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
