Job Overview:
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Operational & Financial Oversight: Provide high-level oversight for project financials, reporting, workforce planning, and standard operating procedures.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Actively manage and mentor project management staff, handling assignments, professional development, and project reviews to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and schedule targets.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors, facilitating strategic partnerships and ensuring fair, professional collaboration.
- Project Lifecycle Management: Lead project execution from kickoff to closeout, including resolving escalations for PMs/Superintendents and representing the firm at senior management and client meetings.
- Commercial & Change Management: Direct customer relations, contract negotiations, and change order management.
WHAT YOU BRING TO US
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of project management experience (ideally in electrical construction), with a proven track record of mentoring teams and leading heavy client interactions.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, or equivalent; a PE license is a major plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office; hands-on experience with Accubid and standard ERP platforms (like Oracle) is preferred.
- Core Competencies: Strong leadership and communication skills, deep knowledge of construction safety protocols, and the agility to manage shifting priorities under pressure.
