Job Description: Electrical Project Executive

Position Overview

We are a leading national electrical contracting company looking for a dynamic leader to drive division profitability through effective execution of multiple large-scale projects. In this role, you will manage and mentor project teams, optimize department workflows, and maintain strong customer relationships while upholding high standards of quality and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Management: Manage, mentor, and develop project teams; handle work assignments, hiring, promotions, and performance appraisals.

  • Project & Operations Oversight: Oversee project technical and schedule goals, procurement, contractual requirements, personnel assignments, and capacity planning.

  • Financial & Contractual Accountability: Manage financial forecasting, project reviews, invoicing, change orders, and coordinate with legal counsel to resolve contract disputes.

  • Client & Stakeholder Relations: Interact with customers to validate expectations, manage third-party construction firms, and systematically communicate risks and successes.

  • Adaptability: Adjust priorities, milestones, and resource loading based on changing customer needs and resource availability.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years of project management experience in electrical construction overseeing a large portfolio and team.

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electric power engineering, field construction management, project scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders, and contracts.

  • Skills: Exceptional analytical, motivational, and leadership skills with a proven track record of building relationships to win projects.

  • Education & Certifications: Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related industry field is preferred; a Journeyman or Master Electrician's license is a plus.
