In this role, you will manage and mentor project teams, optimize department workflows, and maintain strong customer relationships while upholding high standards of quality and continuous improvement.
Leadership & Team Management: Manage, mentor, and develop project teams; handle work assignments, hiring, promotions, and performance appraisals.
Project & Operations Oversight: Oversee project technical and schedule goals, procurement, contractual requirements, personnel assignments, and capacity planning.
Financial & Contractual Accountability: Manage financial forecasting, project reviews, invoicing, change orders, and coordinate with legal counsel to resolve contract disputes.
Client & Stakeholder Relations: Interact with customers to validate expectations, manage third-party construction firms, and systematically communicate risks and successes.
Adaptability: Adjust priorities, milestones, and resource loading based on changing customer needs and resource availability.
Experience: 10+ years of project management experience in electrical construction overseeing a large portfolio and team.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electric power engineering, field construction management, project scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders, and contracts.
Skills: Exceptional analytical, motivational, and leadership skills with a proven track record of building relationships to win projects.
Education & Certifications: Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related industry field is preferred; a Journeyman or Master Electrician's license is a plus.
