Overview
This
role
sits
at
the
center
of
project
execution
before
anything
hits
the
field.
We’re
looking
for
an
experienced
Estimator
who
understands
automotive
paint
finishing
systems,
industrial
ventilation,
and
sheet
metal
fabrication, and can translate complex project requirements into accurate, executable cost models.
This
is
someone
who:
- can
walk
a
facility
- understand
scope
gaps
- build
estimates
from
scratch
- and
work
directly
with
leadership,
subs,
and
engineering
Role:
- Review
and
qualify
RFQs
/
RFPs
to
determine
fit
with
core
business
- Attend
bid
meetings
and
perform
on-site
walkthroughs
- Define
project
scope
for
subcontractors
and
equipment
vendors
- Build
and
manage
responsibility
matrices
for
bids
- Develop
detailed
cost
estimates
based
on
specs
and
drawings
- Perform
manual
take-offs
for
sheet
metal
and
ventilation
systems
- Build
fabrication
and
material
estimates
using
Excel
tools
What
We
