What You Will Do

We are currently seeking interns to support North Berwick Engineering with interest in Project Engineering roles. This position will be in-person and you will provide Project engineering support on a variety of engineering tasks.

As a Project Engineering Intern at Pratt & Whitney, you will......

  • Responsible for managing day‑to‑day tasks, ensuring timely completion, prioritizing workload effectively, and maintaining organization across multiple activities.
  • Prepare accurate technical reports that summarize engineering data, project performance, and key insights to support decision‑making and project planning
  • Project support of tasks from preliminary design through detailed design phases
  • Coordinating with others in advancing technology and process improvements
  • Your efforts will align with the design, development, validation, production implementation or fleet management of engines flying throughout the world.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship session.
  • Must have a minimum of 30 hours of credit by the start of the internship session.
  • Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA

Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects

  • Experience applying problem‑solving and adaptability in response to new challenges.
  • Experience pursuing continuous learning in aviation and aerospace.
  • Experience contributing perspectives and sharing knowledge to support team growth and collaboration.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
