What We’re Doing
Our Team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Regional team, is constantly engineering, developing and integrating new capabilities for the U.S. Missile Defense System. protecting both the United States and its allies. This large, fast paced team, is composed of many small agile teams working together dynamic environment with a common mission to develop and deploy leading-edge missile defense technologies.

The Work
The selected candidate will report to the Regional Applications Engineering Project Manager (EPM) and work closely with other Regional Applications leadership (including Engineering Managers, Product Owners, and CAMs) to fulfill a variety of needed tasks including (but not limited to):

Coordinate the RA teams efforts associated with assigned C2BMC capabilities.

Be responsible for all EVM baselining reporting and status updates for the assigned capabilities, including tracking status of efforts in JIRA (both high and low side), reviewing costs and schedule metrics, providing all required inputs for monthly LM business cycle, and providing the RA EPM and RA leadership team updates on progress, cost, schedule and issues.

Support the identification and management of Risks and Opportunities for assigned Capabilities, and attendance at the program risk management boards when required.

Organize and conduct weekly tag-ups and status meetings for the assigned capabilities and maintain Confluence pages, or other forums, with all applicable information and notes.

Track Action Items and work with assignees to resolve issues.

Organize Iteration planning meetings for the assigned capabilities and work with product teams on collecting and presenting metrics used for planning.

Support RA iteration planning, sprint reviews and management of JIRA records.

Collect software development metrics and reporting to assist product teams and leadership in the completion and management of assigned capabilities.

Support RA program leadership, as requested, with other tasks such as Proposals, Engineering Estimation, and program management reviews.

Basic Qualifications

****DoD Final SECRET Security Clearance (Top Secret Desirable) *****

Generally has 5+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.

-Earned Value/CAM experience on discrete control accounts. Experience writing Variance Reports, baselining new work, breaking down Planning Packages, monthly status and reporting.

-Engineering Management experience such as, Product Owner, Scrum Master or Project Engineer.

-Proficient with Microsoft Office/365 tools. Will need to create and manipulate Excel spreadsheets and create Power Point charts and graphs.

Desired skills

-Experience with Confluence and JIRA. Experience with JIRA including creating filters, dashboards and queries to extract information needed for metrics.

- Experience creating and/or coordinating Engineering Estimates and technical proposals.

- Experience collecting and collating metrics from various sources.

- Strong communication skills including speaking and writing.

Ability to work remotely

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Security Clearance Information

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $120,100 - $208,150. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
