Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Project Engineer (Sales) to join our dynamic team in Eau Claire, WI. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the leading and coordinating all technical aspects of product development projects from concept through production. Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all techical aspects of product development projects from conception to production ensuring timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including planning, design, supply chain, and operations to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Conduct new product introduction (NPI). Act as the primary liaison between design engineering and operations during new product lauches. Oversee manufacturing readiness, process qualification, and production validation.
  • Develop cost models, quotes, and process routings. Communicate pricing and delivery estimates to customers, ensuring competitive pricing and target gross margins.
  • Prepare and present project documentation, including reports, schedules, and technical specifications.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates.
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial) or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in project engineering or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in project management software and engineering tools.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

You should be proficient in:

  • Design for Manufacturability (DFM)

  • CAD Software (Solidworks, Pro-E / Creo)
