Job Overview:
The Project Engineer will contribute to team from concept through prototye and production stage of multiple product lines
Responsibilities
- Provide support to ensure most efficient processes and operating systems in order to minimize scrap/material usage and downtime by working with various teams including Maintenance
- Participate in project management of factory automation projects and changes to processes/equipment
- Generate/maintain product drawings and project documents, along with coordinate activities around standardization, documentation and control
- Champion continuous improvement objectives
- Assist in packaging design
- Perform capacity analysis and recommend need for new equipment
Qualifications
- Bachelors in either Industrial or Mechanical Engineering preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience working in a manufacturing engineering capacity
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Powerpoint)
- Solid experience working with SolidWorks 2D/3D CAD software
