The New Product Introduction Manager is a leadership position that is responsible for driving cross functional teams to enable solutions and on time delivery of customer product development needs in early stage of product lifecycle.
- Lead Innovation: Be at the forefront of product development, managing prototyping needs from concept to delivery, focusing early stage of product life cycle.
- Customer-Centric: Build lasting relationships with customer by ensuring their needs are met—on time and beyond expectations.
- Cross-Functional Impact: Collaborate with engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, and more to deliver breakthrough solutions.
- Challenge and Growth: Support new product development in leading-edge semiconductor equipment, solve complex customer requirement, and continuously improve business processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Champion New Products: Act as the primary point of contact for customer prototyping inquiries and associated customer service needs. Lead cross-functional teams to align on product requirements, feasibility, timelines, and cost.
- Drive Success: Oversee teams to ensure seamless execution of prototype development and production. Monitor prototype orders daily, manage priorities, and adjust plans to accommodate evolving customer needs with a focus on timely delivery.
- Be the Voice of the Customer: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through dependable communication and reliable execution. Communicate clearly and confidently to both customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency and trust.
- Analyze & Optimize: Evaluate and communicate business performance to key stakeholders. Identify for areas for improvement and drive necessary changes to exceed customer expectations.
- Innovate Processes: Create and refine business processes to enhance productivity, quality, and adaptability to changing business requirements.

- Assist in applying lean manufacturing concepts and 5S. Demonstrate ownership of continuous improvement ideas and activities. Maintain organization and cleanliness, housekeeping and 5S within work area. Maintain these areas at the highest degree possible while responsibly escalating any maintenance issues.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required
- Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of 5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in Plex, PowerBI, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to work off-hours and weekends when necessary to meet critical deadlines. Willingness to work on-site in both Silfex facilities (Eaton, OH and Springfield, OH), as needed.
- Rich experience in the execution of business processes related to management of customer, production, and product. Strong business data analysis skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable tasks.
- Understanding of business, engineering, and manufacturing processes involved with Silfex products. Ability to see complex interconnections across teams and proactively solve challenges. Define problem with concrete proof and drive root cause analysis and find both short-term and long-term solutions.
- Proven skills in leading cross-functional teams and drive accountability with a customer-first mindset. Be on top of the progress with an eye on details to ensure on-time delivery of customer needs.
- Master at translating customer requirements into actionable insights for diverse teams. Able to convey complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
Preferred:
- Industry experience in one or more areas: customer service, program management, sales, operation, engineering, machining, planning, pricing, customer database.
- Demonstrated success in presenting to customers and senior leadership team.
- Knowledge of the semiconductor market, Silfex’s key products, and customers.
