You will be the Program Quality Engineering Senior Manager for the IRST and Sniper Sensors Program Quality team. Our team is responsible for optimizing and growing the quality team structure, providing strategic Quality leadership, and ensuring the successful concurrent development and transition to production of all IRST and Sniper products.



What You Will Be Doing



Lockheed Martin (LM) is seeking an experienced Senior Program Quality Manager (PQM) to lead all aspects of quality for the IRST and Sniper Sensors programs based in Orlando, FL. The Sr PQM will be responsible for optimizing and growing the quality team structure, providing strategic Quality leadership and ensuring the successful development, transition to production, production and sustainment of all IRST & Sniper products. This person will be expected to operate with autonomy and seamlessly collaborate with all functions and centers in support of delivering quality products for the program area. This position requires that the candidate stay current with industry standards, solutions and leverage technologies across Lockheed Martin. Duties include, but are not limited to:

-Liaise between programs, manufacturing sites across LM and the supply base
-Liaise between program and customer(s) to ensure compliance to requirements
-Optimize program quality execution while driving out risks
-Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams to ensure quality standards are in place
-Establish key performance metrics and conduct data analysis to identify opportunities for improvement
-Identify solutions to complex problems using root cause and corrective/preventive action tools
-Develop talent to strengthen the organization

Basic Qualifications

Technical Engineering degree at the Bachelor level or above
Proven experience leading effectively in a concurrent development/production program area
Experience leading quality in sensor and missile programs
Experienced leading Bid, Proposal and Estimating efforts and the development of Quality Assurance Basis of Estimates (BOE)
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Ability to travel
Demonstrated ability to develop compelling strategies that drive business results

Desired skills

Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming material in Aerospace industry, including previous or current Material Review Board Quality Engineering authority
Lean / Six Sigma or ASQ Certification in Quality
Advanced AS9100, AS9102 and TS 16949 interpretation and application experience
Earned Value Management System Cost Account Manager (EVMS CAM)
Familiar with requirements for handling and control of Government Furnished Equipment/Property during field, ground or operational tests

Ability to work remotely

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Security Clearance Information

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $144,600 - $255,070. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $166,400 - $288,305. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
