Job Description
Our project management team is where the big ideas actually get built. As a Program Manager, you’ll be the one making it happen. Your primary goal is to transition complex facility requirements from the drawing board to full operational capability, on time and within budget. You will be the bridge between strategic intent and tactical execution.
Day-to-Day Functions:
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and synchronize diverse teams of engineers, contractors, and specialists to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Financial Accountability: Manage the full Profit and Loss (P&L) for your assigned projects, overseeing budget forecasting, cost tracking, and financial reporting to ensure fiscal health.
- Project Lifecycle Management: Direct all phases of facility development and construction, from initial scoping and procurement through to final commissioning.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential bottlenecks or technical hurdles in the construction process and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with site leadership and government representatives to ensure all facility upgrades meet strict regulatory and operational standards.
Typical Education and Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 10 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering or Business
- P&L experience in delivering complex projects with cross functional teams
- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in project management on design and engineering, design-build, engineer-procure-construct (EPC) projects with a concentration in the industrial sector preferred within a matrixed organization.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams to deliver or exceed commitments.
- Able to communicate effectively to upper management and customers.
- Proficient in technical writing such as proposal or statement of work development.
- Proficient with Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe.
- Proficient in guiding the development of successful project schedules. Understands schedule mechanics and applies their proper use to develop a fully integrated schedule.
- Experience in forecasting realistic budgets and able to track and control costs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills and Education
- Masters degree in related field.
- Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
- Experience in managing projects for the US Department of Defense preferred.
- Experience working within construction or production in complex high consequence Chemical/Oil/Gas industries.
- Earned Value Management (EVMS) experience or similar performance measurement tool.
