We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our team as a Director of Program Management and Execution Excellence. We are looking for a season Program manager with a passion for driving impactful business outcomes for our company. This role offers the opportunity to influence, mentor, and lead cross-functional teams while managing large-scale projects that span multiple divisions and groups. The primary responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Lead and manage 1-2 Very Large programs connected across multiple applications, Value Teams and Platform components to ensure that these programs stay on target and are effective and deliver business value quickly.
  • Drive business outcomes by providing focused updates on multiple projects across programs.
  • Serve as an individual contributor while actively influencing, coaching, and mentoring resources across various projects.
  • Develop and implement project management strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination among project teams, ensuring alignment and synergy.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project management team.
  • Ensure project costs are well managed and any opportunities to identify efficiencies and cost savings are identified and delivered.
  • Additionally, this individual will play point across the whole division to consistently review and report on Project status beyond these 1 to 2 very large programs.

Required Education, Experience and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in program/project management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence, coach, and mentor team members across various projects.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment

Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or a related field.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
  • Experience with Agile and Lean methodologies.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in driving business outcomes through strategic project management.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, Monday - Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence.This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. The salary range for this role is

$169,700.00 - $267,200.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
