We are seeking a Program Manager to join our team!

Job Title Program Manager

Reports to: Engineering Manager

FLSA Status:  EXEMPT

Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00AM to 5:00PM) extended hours may be required to support business needs

 

Primary duties and responsibilities: 

  • Aid in the technical development of contracts and purchase orders using Modineer internal standards and specifications in conjunction with customer specific requirements.
  • Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules.
  • Develops solutions to program problems.
  • Directs the work of others assigned to the program from various departments.
  • Ensures that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Travel to other plants occasionally—MI, IN, and MO.
  • Effectively interact with employees across all levels of the organization (Sales, Engineering, Program Management, Production, Corporate Management, etc.).
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
  • Must demonstrate regular and predictable attendance.

 

Education, prior work experience and specialized skills and knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related technical field is preferred.
  • Extensive background in manufacturing, tooling, and engineering, as well as, APQP processes.
  • Must be able to read blueprints and be knowledgeable in GD&T
  • Strong technology skills (CAD, CNC, Excel, Word, Outlook, Plex, etc.)
  • Ability to lead and influence others to achieve targets in a diverse work environment.

 

Physical environment/working conditions: 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be expected to go between and office and manufacturing environment daily.  All applicable PPE is required while walking the manufacturing floor.

Must be able to work as part of a team.  Must maintain confidentiality when working on assignments.
