Job Summary:
The Program Manager oversees cross‑functional manufacturing programs from concept through full-scale production. This role ensures that products are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards by coordinating engineering, operations, supply chain, and external partners. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at communication, and brings a disciplined approach to planning and execution.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Program Leadership & Execution — Lead complex manufacturing programs from early concept and new product development through full-scale production and fulfillment of mature products. Own outcomes, drive accountability, and balance risk across diverse teams.
- Cross-Functional Coordination — Influence and align engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, and leadership teams to meet program objectives. Maintain strong downward, lateral, and upward communication to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Manufacturing & Operational Focus — Oversee manufacturing readiness activities including process validation, tooling, pilot builds, and production ramp. Apply deep operational insight to ensure manufacturability, efficiency, and quality.
- Risk Identification & Mitigation — Analyze program risks, communicate impacts, and implement mitigation strategies. Forecast and articulate anticipated outcomes, constraints, and required actions to stakeholders.
- Schedule & Budget Management — Develop and maintain detailed program schedules, resource plans, and cost forecasts. Track progress, manage variances, and ensure adherence to financial and timeline commitments.
- Supplier & Outsourcing Management — Manage outsourced workstreams, including vendor selection, coordination, and performance tracking. Ensure external partners meet technical, quality, and delivery requirements.
- Sheet Metal Manufacturing Expertise — Apply hands-on experience with sheet metal prototyping and production processes to guide design decisions, validate manufacturability, and support efficient production flow.
- Plant Layout & Equipment Installation — Lead or support plant layout planning, equipment specification, installation, and commissioning to enable scalable and efficient manufacturing operations.
- Continuous Improvement — Identify inefficiencies and drive initiatives that improve throughput, reduce waste, and enhance product quality across the program lifecycle.
- Reporting & Stakeholder Communication — Deliver clear, concise program updates, dashboards, and KPIs to leadership. Maintain documentation and ensure transparency across all phases of the program.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
- At least 3 years’ related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer.
