The Interiors Group (IG) Program Manager is a key cross‐functional contributor for the Interiors Group Business Unit: a premier provider of decorative textiles used in finished spaces within large Hospitality, Healthcare and Education markets, as well as independent facilities.

The IG Program Manager will manage and support brand programs and partner distributors through end‐to‐end project oversight. Daily responsibilities include project management tasks such as competitive analysis, product line enhancement recommendations, tradeshow/meeting/training coordination, and responding to bids.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage RFQs and bids: Coordinate the entire RFQ and bid process from start to finish in collaboration with Sales Teams and Estimating.

  • Analyze pricing/margins: Conduct pricing, margin, costing, and installation analysis for bids and perform annual updates for existing programs in collaboration with the Product Analyst

  • Prepare specification packets: Create specification packets for each bid and manage updates to existing documentation.

  • Oversee product data: Manage the flow of brand product data, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date for cross-functional departments.

  • Lead program rollouts: Lead the rollout and implementation of new programs to internal departments.

  • Support national accounts: develop comprehensive response / proposal for RFP, which may include pricing, quote forms, specification documentation, etc. Provide support for national accounts and respond to client requests.

  • Manage Program Level Quote Tracking: Oversee the status of program-level quotes to confirm they remain accurate, valid, and renewed as necessary. Collaborate with Estimating department for day‐to‐day quote activities.

  • Maintain price list: Maintain the program price list.

  • Lead brand updates: Lead weekly brand updates for cross-functional partners.

  • Create project plans to ensure timely and consistent communication. Recognize market and consumer trends to help formulate new product ideas.

  • Provide inventory insights: Provide data and insight regarding the status of stocked and non-stocked inventory levels to assist with sales forecasting and business development.

  • Initiate non-stock or customer product requests with Product Management.

  • Provide competitive analysis database inputs to Product Management.

  • Receive and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.

  • Support the daily operations of the Program team, including acting as the first line of escalation.

  • Monitor workload and assist with prioritization of projects.

  • Provide weekly updates on project status including successes, failures, and opportunities for improvement.

Efficient Project Execution:

  • Timely Completion of Deliverables: All RFPs, bids, and program rollouts are executed on or before agreed-upon deadlines, with minimal need for rework.

  • Clear Project Plans: Each initiative has a well-defined scope, timeline, and set of responsibilities, resulting in fewer bottlenecks and more predictable outcomes.

Accurate & Strategic Pricing:

  • Informed Cost Analysis: Pricing, margin, costing, and installation analyses lead to competitive yet profitable bid proposals.

  • Regular Program Updates: Annual (or scheduled) reviews of existing programs are completed on time, with data-driven adjustments that maintain or improve profitability.

Robust Documentation & Data Management:

  • Up-to-Date Specification Packets: All program specification packets remain current, accessible, and clearly documented, minimizing confusion and errors.

  • Accurate Product Data: Brand product data is regularly audited and updated, ensuring all stakeholders have the correct information at their fingertips.

Successful Program Rollouts

  • Positive Internal Adoption: Rollouts of new programs are communicated effectively, with necessary training provided to internal teams (Sales, Marketing, etc.).

  • Minimal Escalations: Clear communication and organized processes reduce the number of last-minute issues or escalations.

High-Value Client Support

  • Responsive National Account Management: RFPs and other client requests are addressed promptly and comprehensively, resulting in stronger client relationships and repeat business.

  • Maintained Quote Validity: Program-level quotes are tracked, kept accurate, and proactively renewed, ensuring clients always have the latest information.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Effective Weekly Updates: Stakeholders receive timely, relevant brand updates, enabling them to make informed decisions and plan resources effectively.

  • Prioritization & Workload Balance: Projects are prioritized based on business impact, and any workload challenges are addressed early, fostering a culture of collaboration and efficiency.

Data-Driven Insights & Continuous Improvement

  • Inventory Insights for Sales Forecasting: Stocked and non-stocked inventory information is consistently shared with relevant teams to guide accurate forecasting.

  • Competitive & Market Analysis: Regularly provides actionable insights that inform future product ideas and enhancements, contributing to sustained growth.

Proactive Problem-Solving & Communication

  • Reduced Firefighting: Early identification and resolution of potential issues minimize disruptions and keep projects on track.

  • Positive Stakeholder Feedback: Peers, leaders, and team members consistently report a high level of clarity, direction, and partnership in working with the Program Manager.

Measurable Impact on Business Objectives

  • Improved Program Performance: Brand programs show measurable improvements in profitability, market share, or brand recognition.

  • Strategic Growth: The Program Manager’s initiatives align with and support broader business goals, reflecting a clear link between day-to-day responsibilities and the company’s success.

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred and/or 3-5+ years sales, marketing, product, or project management experience.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills required.

  • Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
