The Boeing CompanyPhantom Works (PW), a division of Boeing Defense Systems (BDS), is excited to offer this Senior Program Manager position to lead and grow our PW Weapons organization. The PW Weapons teams design, develop, build, test, and refine advanced weapons technologies and vehicles that shape the future for Boeing defense products.
This position is responsible for program management and business leadership of contracted & internally funded research & development prototype programs. Program execution responsibilities include program leader interface with internal & external customers, oversight & management of contract/project statements of work execution, earned value management, profit & loss, risk & opportunity management, safety, quality, staffing, and program recovery plans when necessary. This leader establishes, maintains, and continuously improves the working culture within the program. They work collaboratively with all integrated product teams (IPTs), supporting disciplines, and senior Weapons leadership to successfully integrate and grow Boeing's safety, quality, and compliance elements for each program. The leader establishes, oversees, and has responsibility for the security and proprietary operating environments for the various projects, as determined by US government customers and/or Boeing leadership.
The position leads a team of employees and first-level managers in St. Charles, MO. This leader will work 100% onsite and conduct business travel as required (~25% overall).
